The View at Disneyland
When ABC's THE VIEW came to Disneyland for a week in October of 2013, they looked to the our team to drive the creative content for up to 4 segments per day, including 2 pre-recorded segments for Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd. I spearheaded the creative direction for the projects, and provided original scripting for the project, including the original scripting for Jenny's segment.
I was fortunate enough to co-direct the Jenny McCarthy segment, as well as direct all Disneyland elements for the live shoot, including Mickey's 85th Birthday Celebration with Bob Iger. This segment alone had streamer cannons, pyrotechnics and a performance by the Disneyland Band, all while Mickey made his live National Broadcast Television entrance through the Castle towards the awaiting View Hosts and Mr. Iger.
The crew at DLR and The View were nothing short of amazing, as we pulled out all the stops to make this week long shoot at Disneyland truly magical for Barbara, Whoopi, Jenny & Sherri.
