Sorcerer's Reception at the D23 Expo 2015
In creating the theme for the Sorcerer's Reception, I drew up on the inspiration of the Walt Disney Archives Exhibit, where we were afforded the opportunity to step back into time, and walk in Walt's Footsteps. I used Disneyland's own Dapper Dans, and Jambalaya Jazz to entertain the 250 guests and 300 invited press, and create a timeless atmosphere for the event.
After a welcome from Adam Sanderson and John Lassiter, we went to the rooftop, where we arranged a special viewing of Disneyland's new Fireworks show. It was a wonderful opening night to the Expo 2015.
